How do I repair a dirt bike?
My husband just bought a 1986 honda xr200r dirtbike shell with all parts not installed. I am trying to find a site on the internet that gives directions on how to install the parts in it. All I have been able to find on the internet so far are manuals that must be purchased. Does anyone know a sight that gives out free directions online?
First off you can’t do it if you have to put the engine together. You don’t have the tools or the experience and I know this because you don’t have the manual which is the first thing you need to buy. Take it to a shop.
As for a manual I recommend just buying one. after going to honda a few times and buying $3 screws a manual will seem cheap.
You will also need gear. The minimum gear should be a helmet, gloves and boots.
