Where Can I Buy An AK-47 Parts Kits?
There is lots and lots of websites selling an AK-47 parts kit on the web. However I don’t want to order one by mail, I want to get into a store and buy the kit myself.
Is there a real store where I could buy such a kit ?
If you are referring to parts such as the stock, grips, barrel, etc you can get them at most stores that specialize in firearms.
If you are referring to components related to the firearm’s action then it’s one of 2 scenarios-
- You are replacing parts in an already select-fire firearm and will have to go through a dealer with a “03 SOT” and pay the $200 NFA tax depending on what needs replacing.
- If the firearm is not already a select-fire one and you are trying to “convert” it into one, unless you are a member of a very specific list of groups, it is illegal. Also all semi-auto friearms in the U.S. are desgined to not be easily convertable to select-fire.
