Auto Parts Used Toyota
Is it worth buying a 2006 used Ford Taurus SE? I’m a college student?
It’s a 2006 Silver Taurus SE at 31,000 miles
and it’s being sold for $5500.
The dealer is getting an oil change and doing a 2nd checkup (he has an auto shop at his dealer)
I know him through a friend, and he offered to help me get a Toyota or a Honda if that’s what I really want. I need a car asap (been without for 2 months – I’ve missed college and work), and it needs to last me till I finish college (2.5 years). Tomorrow I will be test driving this car, and the friend’s dad will be there to help me. Parts are cheap on a Taurus! Before I had a Toyota and after an accident, it took 2 weeks to bring in TWO doors.
I live 3 miles from my college now (I’ve moved) so this car won’t be doing that much driving. Do you think this car is a smart purchase until I treat myself to a newer Toyota Camry toward the end of my college career?
The deal on the taurus is better than average, If it only has 30k miles you should be able to drive that for 4-5 years if you maintain it properly..
I would reconsider on that Camry, considering the computer problems of late.. and the frame rustout problems they have….
