Car Spare Parts Mitsubishi

Value of Stripping My 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer?
My 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer is pretty much at this point completely pointless to repair (I will spare the details) and I want to strip it for parts and use the money I get to pay for a new car (possibly one that isn’t so defective)
Where should I start? Is it worth it to strip it and sell the parts or just junk it at a junk yard and not even get 200 out of it?
You’re far better-off junking it as a whole and being rid of it. The cost in time and effort of trying to part-out your own car, presuming you can even hope to begin to find a buyer for even a fraction of the total number of individual parts, is going to quickly prove to be an exercise in futility. That’s why so few people ever actually do it.
I’d recommend salvaging the handful of the most valuable components for yourself, or any items you know happen to be particularly easy to sell, or in high demand, and just rid yourself of the rest and move forward.
Best of luck. I hope this helps.
