Fal Parts Kits
What are the rules on FAL’s?
I bought a parts kit and I got a receiver for an R1A1, but I don’t know the number of US made parts required for it to be legal, and also since its an imported lower receiver it would be full auto, how do I fix this? Would a new selector lever work or will I have to put a pin between the lever and the full auto mark setting? Its not assembled yet but if I did I hear its 20 years for owning an automatic weapon, please help.
Ok Now get this straight .. If that thing ever fires automatically like it was intended to fire you are in deep chit and they will want it fixed so it cannot be reversed easily .. About being legal i would talk to a good gunsmith that was willing to talk to me about it .. Lot of them won’t even talk to you about stuff like this … But this project is possible .. I want one of them myself just for the hell of it …
