How many hours should you wait in between washing tattoo?
My tattoo is 4 weeks old. There is still light scabbing on parts of it. Its an american flag in a star. I used aquaphor for 2 weeks then switched to curel unscented lotion. it started to scab and raise a week after starting lotion. Ive been washing three times a day and using curel 3-4x day. I usually wash at 10am 2pm and 930pm is that enough time in between washings or is that too close? thanks for the advise
You really don’t need to wash it that much, too much washing will cause the tattoo to take more time to heal. Once a day is plenty!
Also you only really need to use curel once a day, as too much lotion will cause the tattoo to stay “damp” and not dry out as it should.
