In bhagavatha mahapurana 10th skanda–41 chapter -slokas 32 to36 krishna just beheads a washerman with his fingertips because he refused to part with a new set of clothes demanded of him by sri krishna. Actually the washerman just followed the directions of his master kamsa not to part with clothes to aliens..krishna should have directed his anger only towards kamsa towards whom he was proceeding in mathura. it is unbecoming of a loving god. See the washerman was not a bad man
If you search epics with a heart full of doubt and hate, you could find umpteen instances when the great and divine ones would appear to act against the scales of secular justice.
The fact that the divine looks beyond immediate worth – while blessing a hunchbacked woman (Gubja) or punish a haughty washerman (one cited by you) – has to be remembered.
