How much does it cost to live in Paris?
Here is the deal, my fiance and I are moving to Paris. He will mostly get a job working for Toyota over there since he works at a Toyota store now. He works in the parts department. I am going to mostly go to school over there and work like a part-time job. How much would it cost to live there? Also can anyone give me a good website to look at apartments because I am not really having any luck finding any good ones. Also any tips or helpful hints would be appreciated greatly.
P.S: The language I am in school now majoring in French and I am helping him learn it as well so we are good on the language side.
600 to 700 euros for a small studio appartment (20m2). Charges around 100 euros for 2 persons. Once per year 1 month of rent in housing tax. At least 300 euros per month for 2 people for groceries incl. everything (personal care products, cleaning products), but then you’re not eating anything fancy. 100 euros per month on public transport. 25 euros per month for phone and internet. 25 euros per month for insurances. Dinner in a cheap restaurant 20 euros per person incl. drinks. Cinema around 8 euros per ticket. A drink in a bar 2,50 euros. Entrance club 10-20 euros. Car insurance: 100 euros per month, gasoline 1,20 euros per liter (I think). Clothing, bare minimum 50 euros per month per person. Hairdresser for girls 60 euros.
