Breville Juicer Parts Replacement
Lalanne or Breville Juicer?
Do you think the Lalanne or Breville juicer is better. The ones I have in mind are the Lalanne Classic and Breville Juice Fountain Compact.
I have heard that the Lalanne is more difficult to clean.
Is it difficult to find replacement parts (like cutters) for the Breville?
I’ve owned the Jack Lalane Classic and now the Breville Ikon juicer. Hands down I would buy the Breville. The Lalane unit was more trouble than it was worth. It was very difficult to clean, but I thought that was the world of juicing until I bought my Breville.
The Breville unit has a large feed chute, 5 speeds for soft to hard fruit; and it’s much more convenient to clean. In general it feel more sturdy and extracts much more juice for the same amount of fruit. The pulp comes out dry. I’ve never replaced any of the Juicer Parts, but I did call customer service about getting a second part for our espresso maker and they were quite helpful and prompt in sending a second filter basket.
